Official disclaimer: We the concerned freeborn of Amankanu Ohofia Autonomous Community , Oduma in Aninri local government Area of Enugu state were constrained to respond with pains in our heart over the spurious allegations making the rounds in the social media outlets alleging that the Executive chairman Aninri Local Government Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku is meddling in the affairs of Amankanu community in order to impose an in-law as traditional ruler , thereby subverting Amankanu community's constitution as gazetted. The executive chairman has not done so but has used his good office to bring lasting peace in our community and facilitated smooth, peaceful and fair transition to the existing town union interim caretaker of the community. Note that Amankanu community have been in leadership turmoil with many imprisoned as well dead for good nine years until his peaceful intervention.May their gentle souls rest in peace.
