Staff Reporter Ndeabor, Enugu State – September 3, 2025 The Aninri Legislative Council held a decisive plenary session today 3rd of september 2025 at the temporary legislative chambers in Ndeabor to review the cases of two suspended members: Rt. Hon. Ikechukwu Philip Igwe, former Leader of the House, and Rt. Hon. Gladys Ani, former Chief Whip of the Council. Both legislators were initially suspended in May over allegations of misconduct and abuse of office. During the session, council members deliberated extensively on the findings and recommendations of the Committee on Investigation and Disciplinary Matters, chaired by Rt. Hon. Sunday Olisemeka.
